Project Overview
Celebrating Community, Food, and the Local Restauranteur
The Taste of Alpharetta is an annual event that the city of Alpharetta puts on to gather the community and share the wonderful local culinary experiences. After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the city of Alpharetta wanted to make the 30th annual Taste of Alpharetta festival its best and biggest event ever. JacobsEye was asked to market, manage, and co-host the event to make this vision a reality.
We brought a comprehensive menu of marketing support and event management to this one-day event: designing and producing and marketing materials; securing area restaurant participation; soliciting event sponsors; working with city officials for event logistics and support; managing ticket sales and distribution; curating a VIP experience for 125 select guests; and ensuring the event participants—the restaurants and the community—beat the heat, heard some great local music, and enjoyed the culinary delights from the area.
The results were nothing short of delicious! The event brought together 55 local restaurants, 33 sponsors, and 40,000 people for a night of mouth-watering food, great music, and fun entertainment for all ages, all expertly managed by JacobsEye’s event marketing team.
